Jorge Mario Jáuregui,
Angentine architect who united favelas in Brazil

Jáuregui is an expert in use the arquitectural desings to transform the city and united people.
Last night, I saw this entity in the evening news where I knew about their work. Although arquitecture is not my field, the way he uses that to make a difference in the life of citizens is what I want to do when I leave the Universidad de Chile.
He made a cable car to unite the favelas in Brazil. This action produced peace in the Drug trafficking – Police conflict because now the drug traffickers can’t control the pathway access to the favela and people was free.  He also made the “Rambla of Manguinhos”. Is a pedestrian lane to connect two favelas which was separate for a wall and their criminal gangs. “This is gonna cure a social and physics wound in that place”, he said.

Is a genius, I really admired him.
